There are campaign expenses (website services, brochures, and campaign materials.), and Elections Alberta is extremely strict about documenting these expenses and all donations received. The maximum allowable expenses are $13,250. The maximum allowable donation by any individual, is $4,000. Unfortunately, there are no tax receipts for donations during this nomination process.
